How to Manage Tests in a Run Group

Learn about adding Visual Editor and Plain-Text Editor tests and working with saved filter folders.

Once a run group is created, you can add tests to it. For more information, see How to Create and Manage a Run Group.

Adding Multiple Tests to a Run Group

  1. Click the Tests icon (paper) in the navigation bar, ensure Tests is highlighted on the top navigation.
  2. On the Tests page, click the checkboxes for the tests you want to add.
  3. Click the Add to Run Group option from the Bulk Actions menu.
  4. Select a Run Group from the pop-up.

Note: Though you can add disabled tests to a Run Group, they won’t run until you enable them.

Adding Saved Filter Folders to a Run Group

  1. Click the Tests icon (paper) in the navigation bar. Ensure Tests is highlighted on the top navigation.
  2. Click Filters on the right side near top.
  3. Select the Filter you want to add from the Saved filter dropdown.
  4. Click Add to Run Group at the bottom (you may need to scroll.
  5. Select the appropriate run group from the pop-up menu.

Adding or Removing a Visual Editor Test in a Run Group

  1. Navigate to the individual test.
  2. Click the Settings icon (gear).
  3. To add a test, select the run group from the Run Groups dropdown.
  4. To remove a test, click the “X” in the Run Groups dropdown.

Adding or Removing a Plain-Text Editor Test in a Run Group

  1. Navigate to the individual test.
  2. To add a test, select the run group from the Run Groups dropdown.
  3. To remove a test, click the “X” in the Run Groups dropdown.

Removing Tests and Filter Folders from Run Groups

  1. Click the Tests icon (paper) in the navigation bar, then select Run Groups on the top navigation.
  2. Click the run group you want to edit.
  3. Click the checkboxes for the tests or filters you want to remove.
  4. Click the Bulk Actions menu.
  5. Select Remove.

Note: Doing so removes the tests and filter folders; it does not delete them.
