Access preloaded images on iOS and Android VMs
The mobile VMs are not equipped with the camera functionality (as there is no camera), so we have added stock images for testing purposes.
iOS - Access VM Stock Images
To access the iOS Photo gallery in iOS VMs, guide the testers to the iOS VM Home screen and then click into the Photos App. Below are sample steps on how to guide the tester to the Photo app.
Action 1: In the area between the terminal and the instructions, click the HOME icon (next to a keyboard, left and right arrow icons)
Question 1: Were you brought to the iOS VM's home screen?
Action 2: Locate the Photos app on the home screen and click into it. Select Continue if a What's New in Photos popup is present.
Question 2: Do you now see a screen with several photos?
NOTE: You may need to ask the tester to select Albums and then Camera Roll
Android - Access VM Stock Images
To access the Android Photo gallery in the VMs, it is necessary to guide testers to the Home screen and then click into the Gallery or Photos app. Below are sample steps on how to guide the tester to the Gallery/Photos app.
Action 1: At the bottom of the terminal, click the circle icon between the left-pointing triangle and the square icon.
Question 1: Were you brought to the Android home screen?
Action 2: In the home screen, click on the circle icon with 6 dots in the middle and then click on the Gallery or Photos app on the following screen. You may need to click into the Pictures folder.
Question 2: Were you brought to a gallery of different photos?
Note: This photo app is either called Gallery OR Photos depending on the Android version.
