The Rainforest Tester Rating system allows users to give feedback on how a tester performed at any step of a completed test. Users will be able to give a rating between 1 and 5 stars to testers to rate their performance at this step and provide a note as to why they gave that rating.
Using the data collected from the tester rating system, Rainforest will be better equipped to quickly identify issues that affect test quality. Upon review, the data collected will help Rainforest to proactively improve the quality of results by identifying areas for further training and instances of tester inconsistency.
A Quick FAQ
What do the ratings mean?
Five stars is the best possible rating, indicating outstanding performance. Five-start rating usually include helpful comments and possibly an uncovering a previously unknown bug.
On the other side, a single star rating is the worst possible rating and indicates that the tester performed poorly at this step.
Can testers see my ratings?
Currently, testers cannot see their individual ratings, total rating or any comments submitted. Comments are reviewed by Rainforest to identify any issues.
My rating was wrongfully submitted. Can I change it?
If you or someone on your team has submitted an incorrect rating, or if you wish to update your rating, you can re-rate that tester’s performance. Simply click the appropriate number of stars again and the rating will be updated.
