Configuring Web Apps for Testing
Learn how sites and environments work together for testing your web apps.
Sites are the web properties you want to test. All new tests created in Rainforest run using the default web app configured in your Sites and Environments settings. Every site has a URL for every environment.
Environments are the stages along a deployment pipeline. Usually, they are given names such as Dev, QA, Staging, and Production. When you run a group of tests, they run in one environment. Each environment can use a webhook, but it’s not a requirement. For more information, see Using Webhooks.
