Profile Settings

The Profile Settings page allows you to update information about your Rainforest account. Note that some functionality is reserved for the account owner. Click the Settings icon (gear) in the navigation bar. The Profile Settings page appears by default.

Updating Your Avatar

Your avatar is automatically generated for you from your email address. To update your avatar, visit Gravatar.

Updating Your Name and Email Address

Name

1. Key in your preferred name for emails and in-app mentions.
2. Click the Update Profile button at the bottom of the page.

Email Address

1. Key in the email address you’d like to associate your account to.
2. Click the Update Profile button at the bottom of the page.
   Note: After updating, your current session ends. Log in using the new email address.

Managing Email Preferences

To enable or disable email notifications, use the “Enable email notifications” checkbox. You can further customize your notifications as follows:

• When a run has timed out because of a failed webhook
• When a test writing run is updated
• When a run errors
• QA visibility report
• When an exploratory run is updated
• As soon as a run fails
• When a test rewriting run is updated
• When a run is completed

Setting Your Preferred Time Zone

Select your time zone from the dropdown. The time zone controls the timestamps that are visible to you throughout the application.

Changing Your Password

1. Key in your current password.
2. Key in a new password in the New Password field.
3. Click the Update Profile button to save.

Connecting Your Rainforest Account to Github

Click the “Connect with your Github account” button to sign in with Github. For more information, see Logging in with GitHub.

Enabling Colorblind Mode

Rainforest uses colors that might be difficult to see for those with color vision deficiency (CVD). Enabling this mode changes the color scheme.
